Our affiliates are organizations that work collaboratively with MAST to support and enhance science education in Massachusetts. Opportunites from each organization are posted on their websites, in our community tab and also in "Opportunities" under Professional Development.

The MABT was founded in the fall of 1994 as a vehicle to join together Biology (Life Science) Teachers at all levels (elementary-university) throughout Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts Environmental Education Society (MEES) is dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and improvement of environmental education in the state and region.
Our goal is to develop a marine literate society and promote awareness of the ocean world by integrating marine studies into existing curricula.
We develop future thought leaders through experiences in science and engineering practices using well-proven programs and novel approaches that empower students and educators to learn in and beyond the classroom.
The Marine Science Center is part of the Department of Marine and Environmental Sciences. Often simply referred to as the MSC, the center is the marine research and educational facility of Northeastern University.
The New England Aquarium is a nonprofit research and conservation organization that has protected and cared for our ocean and marine animals for more than 50 years. We inspire everyone to form a deeper connection to the ocean and take action to protect it.
By working with a variety of partners, we provide professional learning opportunities for classroom teachers and informal educators. We develop strategic partnerships and use a collaborative approach for educator professional learning.
The STEM Education Center is committed to working with current and future educators to guide relevant, integrated, and inclusive STEM learning experiences with their students and communities.
