Dear MAST Members,
Due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 world in which we find ourselves, the MAST Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to not hold our annual, face-to-face conference in November. However, we are still committed to providing quality professional development opportunities for our members. To help achieve this, MAST will be running a webinar series during the 2020-21 school year. Based on membership survey results, the first several webinars will include topics such as:
Remote Learning
Remote Assessment
Educator Hybrid Teaching
Great Labs
Racial and Social Justice
All webinars will be free to MAST members! The first two webinars in the series are brought to you by a collaboration between MAST & MSELA. It is titled “Teaching Science and STEM in a COVID-19 Environment” and will be presented by James Palcik of Flinn Scientific. The details are as follows:
Tuesday August 18th, 1-3PM (School Leadership Science Safety Guidance)&Wednesday August 19th, 10-12PM (Lab Safety for Teachers)
